The faded finish gives it the look of a seasoned performer.
The Gibson Faded Flying V was born to rock. When the original V came out in '58, it was ahead of its time. When it was reissued 9 years later, it became a favorite of progressive rockers and still is to this day. This Faded Flying V has all the features and specs of the '67 model and the look of a guitar that has been loved and cared for since those early days.

For all of you that dare to say that this guitar is impossible to play while sitting, I must say that you're committing a crime saying that. This guitar can be played sitting, laying over the sofa, standing up and the list goes on. Is the most comfortable I've ever played. The neck feels like heaven and the strings do not go out of tune. The tuners are great, not forgetting to say the finish (mine was worn brown) is awesome. The pickups distortion I must say can really beat the hell out of Black Sabbath's sound and still go to the sound of KISS, Guns and Roses, and anything you can think of. Not to forget the clean is perfect for every ballad you can think of, no need of acoustic guitars here! Hey, you know you want this guitar, look at the price, why get an Epiphone if you can get the real deal with Gibson? (Also comes with your own screwdriver if you're the kind of person who likes to mess with the hardware ;) )

Although the price was right, and the quality was fairly poor, i think that buying this guitar was a fairly bad dicission. I would strongly recommend spending more money on a better guitar because in the long run, you will be spending more money on improvements and upgrades to get to a standard point that you will be spending more money than the guitar actually cost.

AWSOME
Comments about Gibson Faded Flying V:
I walked into the music store one day, and I saw this guitar and I had to play it. As soon as I plugged it in, I knew I had to have one. This is a killer guitar if you are playing it with heavy distortion, but also sounds suprisingly good on a clear channel. This guitar is all around a great guitar, if you're shredding with some metallica or just rocking out to some zeppelin.

Comments about Gibson Faded Flying V:
The Gibson Flying V Is a great guitar for its price. Only thing I dont like about this guitar is, it is extremely hard to play sitting down but what do you expect with the shape, But I willl tell you it is one of the lightest and most easy to play standing up. This guitar is for advanced, pro, and intermediate. Overall great guitar.

This is one of the best Flying Vs that you can buy!!!!!!
Comments about Gibson Faded Flying V:
The only way to describe this guitar: WOW!!! I got it about two months ago and it plays great! I've played other Flying Vs in the past and this one is by far the best I have found! It distorts well but still picks up awesome cleaner sounds! If you want a guitar that plays great and looks better go for this one!!! I'd recommend it for almost any genre.
