A Custom Shop marvel with the fleet feel and luxury looks of the fastest 335 ever.
The precision Gibson Custom Shop 1963 ES-335 With Bigsby Electric Guitar is identical in every way to the original with the addition of a Bigsby tailpiece. In mid-1962 Gibson's fantastically popular thinline semi-hollow wonder machine adopted a thinner, faster neck profile and gorgeous pearloid block inlays to enhance the rosewood fretboard. The reissue Gibson 1963 ES-335 with Bigsby guitar is made on the original forms by some of the world's finest luthiers. The most prominent feature is the addition of the legendary chrome Bigsby vibrato tailpiece. Essentially the same design as when it was introduced in the mid-1940s, the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece model B70 allows players the ability to bend the pitch of notes or entire chords for vintage-style vibrato. It has been a fixture on many legendary Gibson guitars, and was named after its late inventor, Paul A. Bigsby, who sold his Bigsby Guitar company to legendary former Gibson President Ted McCarty in 1966.
