Comments about Fender Road Worn '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I ordered one in the Butterscotch finish. The guitar was delivered in fantastic condition. Unpacking didn't take long and a quick tuning led to a quick play of La Grange, that went off real well. The guitar is all I had hoped for. It has that "journeyman" look and the Texas pickups do it all quite well, from typical chimey Tele sounds to enough power to make my Blackheart amp breakup and deliver a nice rock n roll growl. The action needed just a tweeking adjustment to have it low and quick without any sign of string vibration. Also the D string intonation was a little flat but was quickly brought inline by tuning at 040 sharp. Bottomline is this guitar has the look and sound of a rock star.
