Comments about Fender FA-125S Folk Acoustic Guitar Pack:
I have played on two of these guitars before.
The first had just a great feel to it and sounded very nice.
I was surprised and played it for almost an hour.
I should've bought it.
The second, I purchased for a young student (10yrs old) and it was just as nice as the first one.
The body style and size are good for louder mid range and highs.
Not at all bassey sounding like dreadnaught styles.
And this guitar is good enough to gig with or just have for practice or school.
You dont have to spend more.
The construction is sturdy and well made.
The looks are good and simple and the instrument should just keep getting better as it ages.
You will be surprised at how well it plays.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Fender FA-125S Folk Acoustic Guitar Pack:
Well, I can finally post a review for this instrument. I don't know why people haven't said much on it but here it is.
It is a very cheap starter or beater guitar with a solid top. It's not only a folk (smaller) body style it is also about an inch thinner on the sides making it easy to stand and play or sit and not feel like your having to try to reach over. Although the body is smaller the neck is a full size that fits the guitar so it's a bit neck heavy. It is not a guitar exclusively for children. It works if your are looking for a starter guitar (for any age) or a guitar that can take some abuse and travel. It has very bright tight end sound but does lack some bass. That fits my style great but if a lot of volume is important to you then you may want find a regular dreadnought guitar. It is not a lot quieter just a little and most people will find the overall sound quality to be very enjoyable.
The accessories it came with are enough to get a beginner or stranded guitarist going. The case is made of a acrylic/nylon material and has NO padding. It is simply a carrying bag. It has both a handle and simple backpack strap. The strap is decent and although the guitar comes with two strap pins they give you strap with a string so you can put on the pins or tie it at the head stock. The tuner is accurate but can be a little difficult at times but it tunes fine. String winder - I don't use these except for the pin puller on it so I suppose it's fine. Don't need the starter book these days but I have used it when I started almost nine years ago. If you are new try it out. I has a fairly simple method of at least getting you started. The picks and strings are... picks and strings. I would recommend Dean Markley's Blue Steel.
All-in-all, I would highly recommend this guitar to beginners and experienced players alike. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bottom strap came out when I yanked the strap off a little too hard. It is glued in (even though the top pin is screwed in... weird) not in the best way but I resealed and reglued it myself and no problems since then. Hope this helps you in shopping for a new guitar.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
