Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
Ok here is the scoop!!! My first guitar I returned to Music 123. It was very heavy and tone was not great, plus some fret buzz on down the neck even after a proper setup. My second guitar better weight (lighter and more resonate sounding). My issue was fret buzz again when playing down the neck of the guitar. However, I kept this guitar and made some slight modifications. I installed a new bridge from the standard Mexican tele. The original "ash tray" bridge was hard to adjust to get fret buzz to a minimum. This like-new fender bridge from ebay cost me $20. Now the fret buzz is greatly minimized. Sounds really nice. Also installed fender chrome locking tuners for like $80. Now this guitar can stand up against the American made teles/strats for like half the cost. I really like this guitar. The frets were never sharp at the edges, but it did have fret buzz. If you only play in open position you will never notice the buzz. These changes were absolutely necessary to make this a great guitar. Mine is sunburst color with maple neck. Now, a great guitar with great looks.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Satisfaction
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I had read many positive things about this guitar before purchase, but still Im a little bit positively surprised by the quality of this instrument.
Good workmanship, nice sounds and an over all comfortable guitar is what the Mexican Fender plant deliver here. A detail thing like how well the edges of the frets are made (no sharp ends, at least not so far...!), makes me wonder how small the difference in quality from US made to certain Mexican Fenders (at least this model) is now.
Will I ever buy an American Fender guitar, with this quality available at this price? I doubt it. Id probably buy another Mexican one instead. Actually I was going to buy the desert sand Baja in the first place, but I'm happy that I got this one, because of the strat option and the general quality (couldn't be much better). One little thing though, is that the color on the guitar I got (honey blonde) is more yellowish than the color on the pictures. But it still looks great.

Versatility
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
This is the guitar to get if you want something in-between a Tele and a Strat. It has a rich, fat tone and it is super versatile. I have the candy apple red version, and love the look. The construction and quality are great and it says in tune quite well. This is one electric that can act as many.

Simply awesome !!
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I've played Fender guitars for over 40 years, and the Nashville Tele has the most satisfying sound I've ever experienced..., full, rich, and with as much (or as little) twang as you will ever need...I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone who ever plays country, jazz, or blues. Versatile is it's middle name.

Nice sounds
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
What a great sounding guitar. I love the combination of the bridge pup with the middle strat pup. Twangy, but not over the top. Useful for blues, rock, and country. Nice and easy to play as well -- I have the rosewood neck, but wish I had the maple. If it was stolen, I would cry and then buy another one -- this time with the maple neck :)

Awesome instrument
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
The most interesting thing about this guitar is the versatility! 3 single coil pick-ups and a 5 way switch certainly give the options to play a variety of genres. The neck is as smooth as silk. Put it through a chorus and a vintage Fender Amp and you will be amazed. The only caution I have is that the machine heads are vintage and difficult to string. You can find replacements through most parts dealer.

Great guitar, with a few problems.
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
This is a very nice guitar, and perfect if you want the true Fender sound without being able to shell out a grand at a time. With a little compression, it sounds great on any amplifier. I do have three problems with it: 1. If you plan on Merle Travis style fingerpicking, you're going to have to learn to play without knocking your thumbpick against that middle pick-up. 2. You can't select the classic bridge/neck pickup combination on this model. 3. You need to replace the middle pickup unless you want an SRV tone every time you select it. If that's what you want, though, go for it. Don't get me wrong, the extra pickup makes this guitar versatile in ways other telecasters are not. Get it now.

Nice blues guitar . . .
Comments about Fender Deluxe Series Nashville Telecaster Electric Guitar:
I bought my Nashville Tele in 1998 after being away from playing for 20 years. Saw this at a store when I moved back north - and they had the off-white color I liked! Still looks and plays great, nice action, very comfortable, love the Strat pickup though I use mainly the bridge/strat or strat/neck combo for the humbucking. I play it through a Peavey Classic 30 tube amp using the drive settings - nice, warm bluesy tone!
