The Fender Merle Haggard Signature Telecaster Electric Guitar is the result of a modified Thinline Merle's ingenuity. Enhancements include a laminated top of figured maple, a set neck with a deep carved heel, an ivoroid pickguard and binding, gold hardware, and an abalone Tuff Dog Tele peghead inlay.
The Merle Haggard Telecaster is armed with a Texas Special neck pickup and custom wiring of a 4-way Tele pickup switch—just the way Merle likes it. 2-color sunburst finish completes the deal. Fender includes a custom case, strap and cable ($179 value) with each Merle Haggard Artist Series Signature Telecaster.

I love Tele's, but this jewel stole my heart! It's beautiful and plays very well, but it's too beautiful to play! It will make a fine gift for my son to remember both myself and Merle!

the lead guitarist in my band owns this guitar, and we swapped guitars for a few weeks just to see how each other liked the others guitar. He received my Ibanez GSA 60 and I received his Fender. I'll admit, this is one of the most expensive guitars I've played and for the money I was expecting it to sound better. It wasn't as crunchy or as clean on either end as my Ibanez. Great guitar though!

I currently own 6 guitars including this one. I have owned and sold many others. This is by far the best guitar I have ever had the pleasure to lay my hands on. The craftsmanship is the best in the industry. The feel and sound are superior to all others.

Owned the Hag Tribute Tele for 2 months now. Would not trade it for any other guitar on the planet!! Incredible sound, comfortable feel, and the most visually beautiful guitar I've ever seen!!!
