Nice guitar
Comments about Fender Classic Series '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar:
It's a nice guitar, works well, sounds good, looks good however it is made in Mexico and you get what you pay for, good bang for the buck.If you want an American made Tele then pay the extra $300.00. All things taken into consideration this Little Tele is ok, buy it and you won't be disappointed.

Indispensable guitar for the recording studio!
Comments about Fender Classic Series '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar:
Love my tele, I use it constantly in the studio, the ultimate rhythm guitar. Nice and jangly sounding, also use it for clean lead breaks. The ash body is nicely figured, I replaced the white pickguard with the real deal, a black Bakelite guard, Teles always look best with a black pickguard in my opinion. Replaced the 3 steel bridge saddles with the high sustain brass ones like the originals had and it made a huge difference in the sound, more sustain and tone. Fit and finish looked pretty good right from thefactory. I rebuffed the fretboard and body to get any imperfections out of it. I've had it a couple of years and it just keeps sounding better.

great sound
Comments about Fender Classic Series '50s Telecaster Electric Guitar:
This is my first guitar. I only asked for a standard tele, but I received the 50s tele instead as a gift. They didn't tell me either, and I only found out later after looking at other teles, which is when I had my first epiphany - this is different. I later had another epiphany once I started playing the guitar: this is a really, really good guitar. The construction is impeccable. The frets and fingerboard are seamlessly bound to one another, as if the wood suddenly turns to metal and rises from the surface. The pickups are completely silent, without any hiss or obvious interference, and yet they scream. Other reviewers have commented on how the teles are diverse instruments, capable of country, blues or metal - which is the reason I wanted one - I like them all. I am very pleased to say that all of these accounts were 100% correct. This guitar rules. Whenever I hear it make a great note for the first time, I just cant help but shake my head and say "damn." Just turn up the gain and hold on.
