Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I've never played a bad strat. Certain features I've longed for but was never willing to pay for. This was it, my dream strat. Mirror like Black Nitro Lacquer. Tinted gloss neck that's NOT sticky, smooth sliding v-neck is a joy to play. Vintage pickups designed specifically for the 57'. Came with 3 way switch installed, supposed to have the 5 way in case, wasn't there, bought one and soldered it in. Added David Gilmour style tremolo bar. I'm set. As much as I love my number 1 Les Paul ...this occupies the other side of my dream. Solid, solid, solid. Note: Intonation ...is spot on. Some strats can be difficult to intonate, that pesky difference betwee the g and b strings. Not here, perfectly in tune up and down and across. I woudn't even consider a standard american compared to this.

I think this is the best!

        By Sindre

        from Oslo,Norway

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar is just fantastic! And the sound of it is great! It has a very good resonance, bell like tone and perfect sustain. The american series stratocaster is a sissy compare to this. Do not misunderstand me. The american series stratocaster is a great guitar, but this is so much better. The vintage pickups sings! You can not get wrong with it. The vintage look and the vintage case look cool and you can get so many cool colors you can not get on a american series strat. I have the surf green, and I just love that color! The ocean turquoise is also cool.Plug it into a Vox AC30 or a Fender Bassman and you have the best guitar sound in the world! If you are looking for a strat go for this!

        This guitar is amazing...

        By Maggie

        from New York, NY USA

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

I have to say that I was very skeptical of this guitar just because there's many Fender Strats out there that I've played. This has the greatest action I've played, and I've very happy with it and I wouldn't trade it in for anything.

        A beautifully finished guitar

        By Matthew Larisse

        from Montreal, PQ, Canada

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

The nitro-cellulose finish on this guitar is stunning. Every note I play sounds like the guitar is crying its heart out. The finish on the body and neck is impeccable. This guitar is most suitable for clean and slightly overdriven sounds. The pickups are low output and produce a vintage vibe that is not found on modern Strats. In terms of value, you definitely pay more for the vintage aura of this guitar. If you intend to modify it, save yourself a few hundred dollars and get the American Standard. This guitar's higher value is largely based on its original vintage appeal.

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

This Guitar is truly one of the best I've ever played, it shipped quickly and it plays so nicely. The overdrive and distortion are clear and not fuzzy. The clean sound is really crisp and the tone is nice. The action is at a good setting. It is a good guitar.

        1957 White Blonde

        By James Wilkerson

        from Rensselaer, IN

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar puts any Fender Stratocaster I've ever played to shame (with exceptions to a few custom shop models). This is as good as a custom shop guitar and is worth twice the price. I played many Les Pauls and Paul Reed Custom 24s before finding this guitar. Easily one of the best guitars you can buy, however, don't look to get a Metallica or Korn sound out of this guitar. SRV, Jimi, Walter Trout, Clapton, and whoever else is on your mind however is very possible. Ten stars!

        the best

        By rick harris

        from qld austrailia 4215

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

The 57 fender strat was one of, if not the best guitar Leo ever built. All other strats followed as copies. I played a 57 in 1964 and have been a Fender man ever since. Fender seems to have gotten it together again and have some excellent guitars again. I only have or will have USA fender, the rest are just cheap copies.

        high quality vintage sound

        By Mike-xA.mh

        from Los Angeles, CA USA

Comments about Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster Electric Guitar:

This guitar has the quality of a custom shop strat. The guitar's setup was perfect when it came from WW&BW. The V-shaped neck is perfect for all styles. Great electronics, sweet clean tone and smooth clear tone when overdriven. The only default is that there is hum in 2 & 4. But you can change the middle pickup and solve that problem.
