The only reason I don't give this guitar 10/10 is because it was built in china. And the problem with that is I own this ESP/LTD Kirk Hammett Junior and an Epiphone Ace Frehley Les Paul. And the problem I have noticed with guitars not built in the USA even though they are inspected in the USA they are not checked properly. The one problem I have on both is that the input jack nut washer always comes loose. I always have to tighten them up. Now I have only been playing electric for 10 years and acoustic(1971 Martin D28) for 20. And I recommend this guitar for an entry level player or someone who doesn't play alot. Because the more wear on the guitar the more problems start to arise. Now I'm a huge metallica fan and Kirk Hammett is my favorite metal guitarist. Why he licensed this under his name I have no clue. But everything else about the guitar is great the inlays, the pick ups, the neck, switches and knobs all are beautiful. Even though it's only 3/4 the size of the actual kh guitars it still possess that great Kirk hammet sound. I have even added a Boss Metal Zone effects pedal which gives the guitar that killer metal sound it wants. My overall opinion it's worth the money! Buy it!

I didn't expect this good of a tone from this mini axe. Strings could be a lil better, but other than that, there is nothing wrong with a mini axe compared to regular sized axes. I've found out that certain songs are alot easier to play on a smaller guitar, such as Eric Johnson's Cliffs of Dover. I'd suggest this guitar to anyone, starters or seasoned guitarists.
