I've had this guitar for a little over six months now and I have to say, I can't seem to put it down. I own an SG and an LP, both of which are great, but this thing has a little something else. The pick ups have just the right amount of bite to them. The neck profile is great, easy for playing fast up and down the neck. I can't say I use the coil tapping that much, but it's nice to have a available on a guitar like this. The only gripe I have is the tone controls: I wish ESP/LTD had placed separate tone controls on this. Other than that, I can't really say there's anything wrong with this guitar. It's definitely worth the money. Buy this over most of what the other big "E" has out.

I Purchase an EC-256 AVB. It's a great guitar. Very light compared to say an EC-500. ESP Tuners hold pretty well and ESP LH-150 Pickups sound pretty good, probably would suggest replacing but do the job overall. Could not find many flaws its a very well put together guitar Well constructed As far as finish its pretty good looking for the " Relic" look. The only thing i did not like is on the headstock it had some kind of lint of some sort that was on their before the applied the small layer of clear so it looks weird Overall the guitar plays very well Frets excellently dressed and crowned Great Buy!!!

Best guitar i've ever owned, i like it better than my viper 400. Prob. not the best for metal but it covers everything else.
