Huge humbucking tone, easy-play scale length, and sharp looks with a tiny price tag.

The ESP EC-50 Electric Guitar is one of the best values in a serious, hard-rocking electric guitar. The EC-50 sports a pair of ESP LH-150 pickups that generate super sustained distortion. Maple neck with rosewood fretboard on a basswood body provides great resonance while the shorter 24-3/4" scale makes note bending a breeze.

ESP EC-50 Review

By SoMoMule

Comments about ESP EC-50 Electric Guitar:

Bought for my daughter for Christmas. Very good value for the $. Tuned it and off to the races. She's a Green Day fan and wanted a Gibson LP jr. but $800 was out of the question. She's been playing my 10lb. ESP EC400VF but this one fits her perfectly, a little lighter, and the neck is a little thinner. I looked at the Epi LP jr. but I think this was the best guitar for the $. Well set up, outstanding quality, and made in Indonesia not China. Sounds very good thru an amp or sound processor. They're not Seymour Duncan pickups but sound respectible. If you're looking for a first guitar you can't go wrong for $200. She's happy, so I'm happy.

Comments about ESP EC-50 Electric Guitar:

i saw this guitar at alamo music s.a. tx. and it was love at first sight. i had to grab it and plug it in. i used a 10 watt ibanez amp to see what it would sound like with a small amp,i was blown away. this guitar has very strong pickups. the neck is great good action. i told the salesman that i will come back tomorrow to buy it. i am getting the red one. i give this guitar a big 5 stars.

Esp Ltd EC-50

Comments about ESP EC-50 Electric Guitar:

I like this guitar because it has good pickups, I have the tobacco sunburts which I really dig, the chrome hardware is pretty cool, the neck isn't too thick or too thin but you know its there, it has 24 frets. The guitar weighs 8lbs. somewhat heavy but that lets you know they aren't using some junky plywood crap, they're using solid wood and high quality parts.
