A great beginner's guitar.
For such an easy-to-afford guitar, the Epiphone PR-150 is a standout -- a perfect instrument to get started on. It is a dreadnought and features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. The PR-150 sounds great and this Epiphone's sunburst finish gives it the look of a far more expensive guitar.

Nice Guitar 4 Nice Price
Comments about Epiphone PR-150 Acoustic Guitar:
Purchased this guitar to have a guitar while my Gibsons (J185EC, J45Rosewood) were being held hostage. I changed the strings soon enough. Out of the box, the guitar was very nice looking. The rosewood fretboard was very nice also for a guitar this price. With new strings on it, it became very smooth sounding! I recorded a song with it recently, and was asked if it was one of my more expensive guitars, they were surprised when I revealed the recording was of my PR150. Stays in tune very well after the strings were broken in. It is just a guitar that won't let you down for the small investment you have to make.

Excellent guitar for the money.
Comments about Epiphone PR-150 Acoustic Guitar:
First impression out of the box is a very nice looking guitar in the black sunburst. The back and sides are very hansome with rich wood grain. The neck is straight and action low, none of the rough fret burs seen on other "cheap" guitars. The neck profile is thicker than my J-45 gibson and D-16GT Martin but still very playable. The tone is good but don't expect it to have the bass of the other guitars mentioned. I think it is an excellent travel or knock around guitar for the office or backyard and you will not be disappionted for the money.
