A professionally upgraded Les Paul Custom in a limited edition Silverburst.
The king of solid body guitars, the Les Paul Custom made its debut in 1954 after the initial success of the Les Paul Goldtop. Les Paul himself originally suggested black as a great color for a new Les Paul because it looked "classy" and went well with a tuxedo on stage. Now, you can own this Les Paul Custom in a limited edition Silverburst finish. And with its chrome appointments, fully bound body, neck and headstock and mother-of-pearl inlays, we think you'll still agree that the Limited Edition Epiphone Les Paul Custom is "dressed to kill." Now featuring ProBucker 2 and ProBucker 3 humbucking pickups, chrome hardware, multi-binding on body (top and back), neck and headstock as well as split-diamond mother-of-pearl headstock and block fretboard inlays, it's as gorgeous as it is deadly. Comments about Epiphone Limited Edition Les Paul Custom PRO Electric Guitar:
First the tech stuff; The guitar was set up almost perfect for my taste. Frets were clean and no sharp edges. All switches work as intended and feel solid. The pickups are dreamy. Everything from classic subtle raunch to full throttle rock and roll. There's plenty of sustain even at low volumes.
Now the looks; The LP Custom Pro has all that nice classy multiple black and white binding front, back, and around the headstock which in my opinion looks perfect with this T V Silver finish. The true nature of the finish is hard to photograph so let me try to explain it here. From across the room the guitar looks a silver/grey but up close what Epiphone has done is paint the guitar first then filled in the small open pores of the wood with a dark filler then applied the clear coat on top of that giving the guitar a mirror smooth finish. It's a very subtle style. It makes the guitar look classy and rock & roll dirty at the same time.
