Clean looks, affordable price, and a cool Alpine White finish.

The original idea for the Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar was to create a somewhat lower-priced Paul by dispensing with some cosmetics. The result was an especially clean, handsome guitar with all the Les Paul essentials. Newly designed in 2004, the Studio now has a thicker body that matches its namesake, hot open-coil humbuckers, a set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and mahogany body with carved top. Alpine White finish. The LockTone stopbar tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge provide great sustain and tone, and make string changing easier. Limited lifetime warranty.

Features

  • Mahogany body with carved top
  • Set mahogany neck
  • Rosewood fingerboard
  • Alpine White finish
  • Alnico Classic humbuckers
  • Locktone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece
  • Dot fingerboard inlays

Pretty Sweet Guitar

By Jordan

from Reading, PA

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar last year for christmas, and its awesome. I had to wait a few extra months because it was on back order, but it was worth it. I really like it and it is pretty easy to play. It has a sort of deep sound, but its really nice. I would definetly suggest buying it if you are interested. It is well worth the price and you'll love it. I wish it would have come with a case though.

Great Guitar For The Price!!!

By Jeffrey Osgood-OjHP-

from Woonsocket, R.I.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:

I was surprised to find out that this is a Custom Shop Limited Edition, so right away, I knew I had to have one for my collection. When I got this baby home, I noticed that it wouldn't stay in tune and that was only due to the fact that the intonation and set up were not done properly, contrary to what the sticker on the back of the headstock said. I've been playing for over 36 years, so I do know how to do setups and once I staightened everything out, I was in awe at just how well this guitar stays in tune and at how much punch and sustain these stock Alnico open coil humbuckers put out. I am at heart, a Fender Strat guy, but to be honest ever since I got this guitar, I just can't put it down. It's just that good. I do suggest however if you are going to get one, that you do have a proper setup done with it. trust me, you won't regret it. I also went and bought a Epiphone HSC to protect my new investment because this lil' darling is a keeper and isn't going anywhere!

Great Rocker!!

By O.L. Wood

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:

2008 Epiphone LP studio. I like this guitar more and more, yes, its an Epi., but for the dollar, my much more expensive American Fenders & LP, are really no better for just jammin! and its lighter. Great action, Alpine White is WHITE! you either like it or not. Grovers, all in all, for the money, I find this guitar hard to beat!! Clean to Heavy, impressive. I play through either (depending on type of music) a Fender Super or a Randall half stack(ss). If you just want a real good LP guitar and are not hung up on big names or American products, Buy one of these

Not bad for the price.

By Josh Griffin

from Jackson, MO 63755

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:

I bought a couple of these because I wanted to experiment with different pickups and "customize" them a little. I played each of them straight out of the box before I did anything, and I must say that the stock pickups sounded pretty good. I think that both guitars were improved with different pickups, though. The finish was nice, and the playability is pretty good, although they don't seem to stay in tune as well as I'd like, but nothing that a little set up should help take care of. Overall, great bargain for the price and I think it'd be great as an intermediate player guitar.

This Guitar Just Sings!!!

By Dave-D-qqK

from Levittown, PA

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:

If you are looking for a Les Paul and don't have alot of cash, THIS IS IT. Epiphone did a great job at keeping the quality standards that Gibson holds to. You can tell the quality and craftsmanship as soon as you pick it up. It plays and feels like a Gibson. All of the black and chrome hardware offsets the white perfectly. The mahogany set neck construction and mahogany body really gives this guitar a ton of sustain. If you are looking for a great, affordable guitar that sings, even without an amp, then I would definitely recommend this one.

Great Guitar

By caedus90

from United States

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar:

This is a great guitar. It is very much worth the price. It has a set neck and real Les Paul style body. It is not a uniform 2 inch thick guitar, it has a nice shape. It plays great, it is very easy to play. It is a very nice looking guitar. The picture here does not do it any credit at all, it is beautiful. This has everything the standard has except the trapezoid inlays which really isn't important. This is a beautiful guitar that plays great. Just so you know it comes with a cable so you don't need to buy one.
