Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special Electric Guitar:

I thought the Epi Les Paul Jr. was a great purchase! I was skeptical until I had it in my hands. The tone control has a wide range and just a tweak changes the entire tone. From super mellow to a fantastic bite!! I would strongly recommend this to beginners and seasoned players. Great guitar!!

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special Electric Guitar:

Couldn't beat the price, it has a pretty good feel. It's obviously a very basic design, but for my skill level,, that's fine. I appears well built and it's comfortable to handle. I was a bit surprised it was built in Indonesia, but I guess that's the way of the world these days, How else would I be able to get my hands on a new Les Paul in the hundred dollar range? We'll see what the future holds once my skill level improves. But I'm pretty pleased with the purchase.

      My first electric guitar

      By Andrew Zimmerman

      from Lewisburg, WV

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar about a year ago and i was ecstatic. It was a great guitar to start out with and it all sounded amazing to me. Now that I've been playing for a good long time this guitar is ok for a beginners guitar but it can't quite handle what I put other guitars through. The pickup that comes with it is not the best of them and the tuning keys are cheap but it has a good feel and you can get the action pretty good if you work on it. I replaced the pick up in mine with an emg Hz a while ago and it sounds really good now. One of the tuning keys broke and I still haven't gotten around to replacing them but all in all it's a good little guitar that will suit the beginning guitar players needs.

Great guitar on an even better budget!

      By Tyler Roberts-q9yOD

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special Electric Guitar:

I picked this guitar up as my first, as I'm just learning to play, and was very surprised on how good it sounded, even on a Fender mini-amp. The only real problems are that the back of the body can scratch a little easily, which is fine because no-one sees that part but you, and the strings tend to get a little bent, so I plan on replacing the strings on it to correct this minor flaw. All things considered, If you are looking for a nice little starter guitar, then this is definently what you're looking for! It has great sustain, awesome warm tone, and it just plain looks cool with that classic Les Paul look! I would definently recommend this guitar to any budget player or new player who is just starting out. Definently a great buy for me!

      Leslie West would be proud!

      By Jeffrey Osgood

      from Woonsocket, R.I.

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special Electric Guitar:

When I got mine,I had to lower the action, and loosen up the truss rod, which was way too tight.Once I did all of that, and gave it a good polishing and a string change,I couldn't believe the tone that comes out of this guitar. Especially if you're using distortion or overdrive. This guitar screams, and has that classic Mountain Mississippi Queen tone.I haven't had any problems with the tuners either, contrary to what reviewers on other sites have written. All in all, this is a welcome addition to my 6 string arsenal.

      BLOWN AWAY

      By Dilligas

Comments about Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special Electric Guitar:

I picked this up for my son for christmas. When it arrived i plugged it in, stummed it and picked it a bit and can not get over how well it sounds. It is well balenced, great tone, with sustain that just keeps going and going. Compared to my Fat Strat the LP Junior feels very natural in the hands. A great Guitar for a someone just starting out. Or for someone looking for that great LP sound.
