Comments about Epiphone ES-339 PRO Electric Guitar:
This guitar is pretty dang sweet. Got a nice, fat neck that you'd expect on a Gibson-designed guitar, the push-pull coil tapping is cool, I mainly play fenders, so its nice to have the option when desired. I got this guitar for mainly jazz playing and studio work, (I needed some humbucking guitars in the studio) but its great for blues as you'd expect, and some good 'ol rock n roll. The pickups are not bad, but aren't amazing either. I'll more than likely end up changing them to some Duncans or Dimarzios, but overall a great feeling, comfortable guitar.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Comments about Epiphone ES-339 PRO Electric Guitar:
One of the best guitars I've owned. I'm mostly a Fender player, I've got myself an american tele and a strat, but found myself missing some sounds.
I tried a Les Paul, but it didn't seem to fulfill my needs, it was way too distorted.
The ES339 it's a great guitar, awesome classic looks, the sound is impecable (push or pull coil) and gives you a wide range of sounds, weather played through a tube amp or a solid state, tried them both and have a great response. Better if played through a tube amo though.
I would recommend it for anyone who's looking for a hollowbody sound without the weight or the size of it. It's actually the same size as a Les Paul.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
