Classic shape and tone in reduced size.

Epiphone's Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO is a modern guitar with roots firmly planted in Epiphone's classic era when Epi's famed Kalamazoo factory produced rock's most legendary instruments in the late '50s and '60s. Featuring a reduced-size ES-style body and Epiphone's new P-90R PRO "soapbar" pickups, the ES-339 P-90 PRO semi-hollowbody turns back the clock while breaking new ground in sound and style. Case sold separately.

A Legend Reborn
First introduced in the late '50s, the original ES Series became an instant rock classic that brought the feel and look of an archtop to a generation of players who had grown up playing solid body guitars like the Les Paul. But for some, ES-style archtops felt too bulky to play on stage or in the studio. Now, the ES-339 P-90 PRO is the perfect remedy featuring smaller body dimensions while still retaining the bell-like tone the ES Series is famous for. And, just like Epi's nouveau classic ProBucker humbuckers, the P-90 PRO "soapbar" pickups are a stunning recreation of the first generation of handwound P-90s which many consider the best single-coil pickup ever made.

Solid Epiphone Construction
The Epiphone Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO features a reduce-size laminated maple body with a solid center block like original ES-style classics and a black pickguard with metal "E" insignia. The mahogany SlimTaper "D" profile 24.75" scale neck has 22 medium-jumbo frets and is hand-set and glued with a mortise and tenon neck joint with Titebond glue. The 12" radius neck features a rosewood fingerboard with pearloid inlays and a 1.68" nut. Single-ply cream binding on the fingerboard and body completes the classic look.

Introducing the new Epiphone P-90R PRO
The Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO features Epiphone's P-90R PRO "soapbar" pickup, a true recreation of the first generation of P-90 pickups found in Les Pauls. Epiphone P-90R PRO single-coil pickups are individually voiced for rhythm and lead and provide a huge variety of sound choices for the modern guitarist. For those used to carrying two or three guitars to get all their favorite sounds, the Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 may be all you'll ever need to take to a gig from now on.

Epiphone's guaranteed electronics also include standard controls for each pickup's volume and tone with smooth black tophats with metal inserts, a tough 3-way toggle switch, and an all-metal heavy-duty Epiphone 1/4" output jack that gives you a lifetime of worry-free use.

Tough Epiphone Hardware
The Ltd. Ed. ES-339 P-90 PRO features rock-solid hardware including Epiphone's LockTone Tune-o-matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece along with "Deluxe" tuners with tulip style buttons.

Comments about Epiphone ES-339 P90 PRO Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I had a long wait on the last guitar, I didn't mind that, I called customer service at 123music and talked to a man and he said he believed the white epiphone was a regular size guitar, Also, I went to a local music store (Music center) here, and he said he believed the Pelham blue guitar was the bigger guitar, Then I received an email from 123music which said I would get my last order within a month, I checked back at the music store, they had a 339 pro on hand then, and it was the size of a gibson les Paul, I came back home to cancel my order, and had an emaill telling me my order had been shipped.

Comments about Epiphone ES-339 P90 PRO Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

The epiphone es 339 P90 Pro I bought from Music123
was exactly as described, mint condition, played
looked and sounded beautiful. Worth well more than what they asked, and what I paid for it. However, due to my misunderstanding of the Epiphone models, their advertised descriptions and specifications, I did not know the difference between the Epiphone es 339 pro, the es 339 P90 pro and the es 339 ultra pro. Each model, while looking almost exactly alike from model to model, each one has a distinct pickup pairing, and each pickup has different characteristics. I thought I was buying the es 339 pro with the push/pull single coil tapping humbuckers, when I actually ordered and received the es P90 pro, with
    the single coil pickups.

The mistake was entirely my fault, though I plead
ignorance on the issue, and some confusion due to
the similar model naming conventions and nomenclature of Epiphone. I did unbox the es339 P90 pro, let it acclimate and played it very carefully. It was such a beautiful guitar, it played and sounded so great, and sold at a ridiculously low price, and in mint condition as advertised. After realizing it was not the es 339 pro I thought I ws buying, I contacted Music123.com customer support, who were ompletely understanding of my confusion, and not only allowed me to return the es 339 P90 pro in its basically unused and pristine condition. Not only did they accept the es 339 P90 pro return for a full refund, they even paid for return shipping in the original package with all contents.

I was so tempted to just keep the es 339 P90 pro,
if for no other reason than a terrific investment, but, knowing I still really wanted the es 339 pro, and having room for only one more guitar, I let the music123.com es 339 P90 pro go back. I did buy an Epiphone es 339 pro, and I love it, but I still kick myself, figuratively speaking, for not keeping the es 339 P90 pro from music123.com. it was just so clean and so pretty and sounded so good. I just got a full refund restored to my credit cards for the es
339 P90 pro, with no restocking charge or even the return shipping charges.

Even though it was not the guitar I thought I was
buying, and I had to send it back, my experience with music123.com could not have been better, and I would, and have, bought more equipment from music123.com

    Sincerely,
    Jerry Drummond

Comments about Epiphone ES-339 P90 PRO Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

I made a mistake and ordered the red guitar (also beautiful) when I wanted the blue. Music 123 corrected and sent replacement guitar promptly. Second guitar was broken because of shipping company, NOT PACKAGING. I called Music 123 and they EXPEDITED another guitar even before they received the broken one back and even let me take advantage of a sale they had going on. Great people to deal with, beautiful guitar, great sound and fun to play. Fantastic addition to my collection.
