A Solid Guitar

By PageIsGod711

from O'Fallon,Mo

Comments about Epiphone Emily the Strange SG Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar simply due to it's looks, and boy does it have them! Few guitars have more of a stage presence simply due to the paint job. It feels amazing and plays easily for anyone who knows the feel of an SG. It is very light so it's easy on the shoulder for those long days of practicing. Now I will say that although less experiaced players would be more than happy with the pickups and tuners, veteran players will not be satisfied with them, the tuners are very loose and the pickups are rather muddy. But some Gibson 57's and Grover Rotomatics make this beauty scream.

Great guitar

By Cliff-B8HmS

from South Carolina

Comments about Epiphone Emily the Strange SG Electric Guitar:

The guitar is great. I haven't had a problem with mine staying in tune (see regular G-310 reviews) as others have(stretch your strings guys). Everything else in the regular G-310 reviews is true for this guitar. It's great for any level of player. I personally believe that a fine guitar for a starting player encourages a rookie to stick with it, especially when they aren't constantly re-tuning or servicing it *Fender!* As far as the Emily the Strange graphics go, they're really great. Clear with a nice long lasting finish. The gig bag isn't bad either, but realize it's a guitar gig bag, which is the right size and shape for a guitar, as opposed to a bass gig bag which most music stores pawn off on the rookies because they're all HUGE. You don't want to store your goodies in the front pocket against your strings anyway! Like all Emily merchandise, everything is well thought out and beautiful in the details. Take care of this one. Of course, remember your primary rule and ONLY KEEP THE GUITAR IN THE GIG BAG FOR TRANSPORTATION! Otherwise, keep in on a nice stand so you don't warp it. Play it often.
