Epiphone

Big-toned, super-playable, and remarkably priced.

The DR-212 is a true 12-string acoustic guitar with the big sound and fine engineering you expect from Epiphone. The DR-212 is not just a dreadnought with 6 extra strings. We designed the DR-212 to take the stress of extra strings and not just support the Spruce top but provide the proper bracing so what you hear is a balanced, cutting, and attention-getting tone. The 12-string dreadnought has often been thought of as the classic-go to guitar for blues, folk, rock, country, and everything in-between.

Comments about Epiphone DR-212 12-String Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar is great value. It not only sounds and looks good, but it is very playable. Action is low and easy to play. For the money, it just can't be beat.

Comments about Epiphone DR-212 12-String Acoustic Guitar:

I have played 12 strings for over 30 yrs.Mainly Ovation guitars and few fenders.I must say that this guitar plays as well as any that I have owned. The set up was good right out of the box,the action was low and easy. The neck is a little wider than my Ovations but its very easy to play. For the price this guitar cant be beat.

Comments about Epiphone DR-212 12-String Acoustic Guitar:

I had a problem with the first one I ordered ......... bowed at the bridge... Would not stay in tune. but at least the warrenty of Gibson products is very good. They replaced it for me ... I am ok with that now.. would hesitate on buying another one of these tho.

    Another solid guitar from epiphone

Comments about Epiphone DR-212 12-String Acoustic Guitar:

I am exelently pleased with the sound and feel of this guitar. The color doesn't look anything like the picture but it looks pretty. It's much darker then the picture. If you want a great sounding 12 string, pick this bad boy up.

    Surprisingly well built!

    By Bill Gray

    from Pittsburgh, Pa. USA

Comments about Epiphone DR-212 12-String Acoustic Guitar:

The DR-212 is not built like a budget guitar. It has a nice spruce top, well figured mahogany back and sides, and a very comfortable neck. This axe is a pleasure to play. Set up was very good. Played well right out of the box, after tuning up. I have a Martin D-28 150th Anniversary and I'm proud to sit this 12 string right next to it. I say kudos to Epiphone and Gibson for producing a fine instrument.
