Looks awesome but needed professional help right out of the box. Every string at almost every fret buzzed. It's fixed and fine now but very poor initial setup.

I have had no problems with the turning that some have complained about. The only thing I would say is to buy a set of new strings and put them on before you play it for the first time. It makes a big difference! What I found works best for this guitar is Martin strings. I have tried others but I think Martin sounds better.

Bought this guitar for my daughter at Christmas. I was delighted with the tone, quality, look and feel of the very inexpensive guitar. I expected a very cheaply made guitar, but was surprised all around. We got it in black and it is quite striking. My daughter plays it less than I do, but she is 9, so I guess I am the kid of the family. I find the action almost as good as my Martin (and I am a big Martin fan). It has a lot of features for the price.

This guitar is fabulous. I bought this guitar on a whim from the B-STOCK section for a great price (due to a chip in the finish on the back) and I am utterly SHOCKED at the immediate playability of this guitar. It was packed nice and safe, arrived very quickly and blew my mind within minutes of taking it out of the box.

I have been playing for 18 years now and this guitar is worth twice what you'll pay. Period. No ifs ands or buts.

This guitar is really shows great quality at a low price. i have been playing for 20 years. ive always wanted a to own a gibson but could not afford it. i bought a les paul special from music 123 and i love how its played ive played on gibson and i cant tell the differance. i reasonly bought the dr 100 and iam really impress with how it plays. i had to put some new strings on it only simply iam picky on what kind of strings i play on. for the price you just cant beat it. iam hook on epiphone guitars for life. i also want to give music 123 a pat on the back you guys are the best i will not use any other dealer. thank you

great sound,narrow neck, and easy to play but low E sounds flat sometimes however a great practice guitar for the price and overall I'm satisfied with it

I was looking for a good quality guitar to start playing again after about 20 yrs. I owned an Epi during high school and loved it. I did a lot of research into good quality beginner guitars for under $200. Epi D-100 was rated in the top 5. So I purchased it with a hardshell case. Man I love it. The action is nice and low and it has a nice bright tone. The black finish is excellent. I am truly impressed with the quality. Thanks Music 123. I really have enjoyed playing again and this guitar makes it fun and worth while.

I wanted it as a backup acoustic and to play with alternate tunings so that I wouldn't have to keep returning my main acoustic all the time. I was very surprised when it arrived at how nice it looked. The neck is probably one of the most comfortable necks I've ever played on and the guitar sounded lovely. It is really very good for the purpose I wanted it for. The only problem I had was that I discovered that one of the frets was coming up at the edges at the high end of the guitar. It probably won't be a guitar for a while, and possibly never. But I'd say it's very good for the money. Epiphones usually don't disappoint me at all.

I have had some $100-range guitars but this is tops. It looks like something ten times the cost, it plays like a dream with the narrow neck, it is light in weight, real wood, and sustains until boredom sets in. It stays in tune and it has a strap button on the bottom of the neck. It sounds ok too. This might well be the King of the Low-Priced Guitars. The body is kind of big, and the sides are very deep, you could almost set your lunch on it.
