Best box for the money.
Comments about Epiphone Broadway Electric Guitar:
I searched and searched for a quality archtop that wouldn't blow my budget, and I found it in this guitar. Acoustically, it's an electric guitar, and won't sound as good unplugged as a carved top archtop--but plugged in, it sounds as good or better than guitars for twice or three times the cost. I get lots of compliments for the sound and the look, but the playability is sweet. Plus, it's not a showpiece that I freak out about.

perfect for the value
Comments about Epiphone Broadway Electric Guitar:
I picked up this guitar a few months ago and have been pleased with it since. Took a while to get warmed up to it because it will not handle big rock distortion or things like that but it's not that kind of a guitar. Has an absolutely marvelous clean sound, a little buzzy here and there but my tech shop cleared that up. My suggestion would be not to place heavy wound strings on it, it doesn't need big metal to make it ring out.For the price, an excellent guitar, I liked it better than the Ibanez of similar price range.

Best Deal around
Comments about Epiphone Broadway Electric Guitar:
Great axe for jazz and blues.... Changed the bridge to a better wooden bride and put a set of flatwounds on it and the tone is perfect. My only complaint is a couple of buzzes from the pickups every once in a while, but nothing serious. Looks extremely cool as well *grin*Can't beat this guitar for under 2 grand... I A-B'd against everything in the world.

classy guitar! great sound and feel!
Comments about Epiphone Broadway Electric Guitar:
I work in a ballroom/jazz dance combo and own a Broadway - this guitar is right for the job and a pleasure to play. The audience likes it - the band likes it - and I like it. I'm very happy I own this classy guitar, one of authority and class due to the powerful sound and clean looks. It's a bit like driving a great car. I really like this axe!

Best Value for the Money!
Comments about Epiphone Broadway Electric Guitar:
This guitar is, in my opinion, the best sounding jazz guitar available for under two grand. I priced and played a lot of hollow bodies, and this one beat out everything in the 1k to 2k range.

Love this guitar with a couple of tweaks.
Comments about Epiphone Broadway Electric Guitar:
The Broadway I purchased from Music123 is not only beautiful but plays well with a very straight neck and no buzzing problems. The action is excellent. Combined with the D'Addario XL .011 Jazz round wound strings I get a vibrant, rich, full sound. The designed for Gibson Humbuckers are very good. My only complaint with this guitar as sold is with intonation. The fixed wooden bridge saddle was somewhat lacking in this area. I easily remedied this with the purchase of an inexpensive gold bridge with adjustable saddles. This helped a lot. Then I discovered the String Saver saddles from Graph Tech. These made the sound smoother and richer as compared to the metal unit. The total cost for the bridge with Graph tech's was $60 and I have a marvelous guitar.
