Comments about Dean Vendetta XMT Electric Guitar with Tremolo:
I bought the transparent black version, and it is actually a flat black with almost no wood grain to it at all. The guitar does play very well after I spent about an hour setting it up, but out of the box the strings are set really high to avoid fret buzz, and the neck as well as the intonation were way off. So if you don't know how to adjust these items, be prepared to pay someone to do it for you. You should also check for loose screws and other fasteners as well. The sustain block on the tremolo on mine was really loose, as were the tuners. But hey I have paid alot more and gotten way less, after all it plays very well once little bits have been fixed here and there. The pickups do the job, but the pots have really fast linear roll off, so the volume is more like on and off. I planned on upgrading all of that stuff before I bought it so, no biggie.
