A Dave Mustaine V guitar at this price? You bet! With a basswood body and a maple top, a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard, and 2 powerful Dean humbuckers, this is an electric guitar that looks and sounds worthy of the flame-haired metal master's name and of a place in your hands! A string-thru bridge increases sustain, and a C-shaped Mustaine profile neck and 24 fast frets will have you shredding the night away. The awesome finish and black hardware look killer.

Kick-Ass Guitar

By StuPaul

Comments about Dean Dave Mustaine VMNTX Electric Guitar:

I bought one, it had a dent in the neck and the frets needed to be filed at the ends so I exchanged it with no problem. The new one also had a dent so I returned it with no prblem. The guitar sounded good. The string-thru bridge does give it more sustain but, sounds more acoustic because of the holes. I don't know if the balance was off but, the neck would dive down. It kinda felt like I had to hold it up while playing. It was a workout. I would feel exhausted after awhile but, I kinda liked that. It felt like it was making me stronger. The shape of the neck I like a lot because it's flater than the average D shape. I was able to spread my fingers and reach further. The pick-ups are good. With the 2 volume knobs,1 tone and 3-way switch, I could adjust it well and really get into it. Music123 was cool about things and the process was smooth. I'm definitely coming back.

A beast to unleash

Comments about Dean Dave Mustaine VMNTX Electric Guitar:

I've gotten to abuse one of these fairly often and I love this guitar, no this war machine! It plays very smooth and quickly, it's light weight, and roars like a caged beast! The sound is absolutely perfect for hard rock and metal, with strong mids, good tonal definition and a lively overall sound. The feel is well balanced, and the neck feels good in the hand with a very playable action. As far as how it's built, I beat it, shredded it, riffed it and it never showed a hint of tiring, heck the only problem I ever had was from my guitar strap. (Note to all: do NOT buy an old guitar strap and throw it on a nice new guitar...it'll ruin your foot quickly) I'd suggest this guitar to anyone into shred, hard rock, or just generally being awesome.
