Crafted almost entirely with woods indigenous to the Pacific Northwest.

Breedlove's Northwest Classic introduced the guitar world to the amazing tonal properties of myrtlewood. Found only in Oregon's coastal ranges, myrtlewood exhibits both the deep bass of rosewood and the ringing treble of maple. Coupled with a Sitka spruce top, and decorated with fingerboard inlays inspired by Northwest tribal totem images, the Myrtlewood Northwest Classic guitar is a versatile musical instrument and Breedlove's most popular Master Class Model.

Comments about Breedlove Northwest Classic Acoustic Guitar:

The construction is perfect, inlays, bookmatching, wood selection all beautiful. The sound is other worldly. Myrtlewood sounds like a cross between the best Koa with a hint of Maple cut through. The tone resonates up through the neck of the guitar and you can feel the guitar come alive as you fingerpick or strum it. The sound focuses in front of the guitar. I've had no issues with this guitar and 2 years later it still fills me with a sense of awe everytime I open the case, pick it up and play it. For those people who don't believe you get anything more from buying an expensive guitar, go play one of these.
