Designed for beauty, built for performance.

From Breedlove guitars, and their masterful artist-luthiers comes the Focus Special Edition acoustic-electric concert guitar. Featuring a select redwood top, Focus SE Abalone inlay and a Master Class Abalone rosette with bound soundhole, the look and sound of this amazing 6-string guitar will truly leave you breathless. Breedlove also includes L.R. Baggs Dual Element electronics for lightning-fast amplification.

Designed with stage and studio in mind, the Breedlove Performance guitars feature distinctive aesthetics and inlays and customized electronics. Built upon the "S Series" Custom Shop platform, Performance Series guitars are built in the U.S. Custom shop alongside Breedlove's Master Class instruments.

The Breedlove Focus SE acoustic guitar and all other Performance Series guitars feature an asymmetrical/winged pinless bridge and JLD Bridge Truss, for signature Breedlove tone and resonance.

Built on the deep concert platform, this Focus SE guitar features a soft cutaway, offering comfort and leverage when dancing across the upper register frets. The acoustic-electric guitar starts with a select redwood top, for warm balanced tone right out of the box. The select rosewood back and sides continue the balanced tone, with subtle emphasis on clear sustained notes that can cut through whatever arrangement you find yourself strumming in. The Master Class abalone rosette, ivoroid binding, and Focus special edition inlay offers tremendous beauty that only Breedlove could arrange in such functional manner. Includes a deluxe hardshell case and a lifetime warranty.

Attractive and addicting

Comments about Breedlove Focus SE Special Edition Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have owned my Focus SE for about two months now, and my love of this instrument is still going strong. I have other guitars, Takamine GB-7C, Ovation, Alvarez, Fender and Epiphone, but the Focus is the one I keep picking up to play. The sound is just incredible. My Takamine is very good, but the Focus just sings when you play it. The bass tones really ring out. I think it is ideally suited for fingerstyle, but I also strum it with a pick, and I think it works either way. The look of this guitar is just plain attractive. The ebony fretboard, the redwood top, the inlays, the signature Breedlove headstock and bridge. And the gloss finish is very durable; I have hit it several times with a pick and no nicks or scratches. I did purchase a clear, removable Taylor pickguard just in case. The electronics are great; controls just inside the soundhole. What more could you ask for.
