Crafted with a select solid spruce top, choice solid rosewood back and sides, and a traditional dovetail neck joint for pure tone. Traditional slope-shoulder construction with a 16" lower bout and 24-3/4" scale length. Exclusive diamonds-and-snowflakes pearl inlays delivers vintage vibe. The slim mahogany neck makes it a truly enjoyable guitar to play.
Blueridge BG-series guitars are made with the same techniques as their vintage American counterparts, including many by-hand processes. Like the best instruments, Blueridge guitars aren't overbuilt. They're crafted to be light and resonant. Meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are evident in the traditional hand-carved parabolic X-bracing that allows the solid spruce top to ring loud and true. All Blueridge BG-series guitars feature a traditional dovetail neck joint, slim mahogany neck, adjustable truss rod, and vintage-style tuning machines, with an updated mechanism for modern precision and feel.

Great Gibson clone
Comments about Blueridge BG-160 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:
Mine is 3 or 4 years old, beautiful flawless sunburst, very good quality rosewood, comparable to the wood on my Martin MMV, very nice grained spruce top. Warm, Gisbon sound at a fraction of the price and I can not see where any compromises where made. Binding and inlays are first class. Construction is as good as any. I switch between Elixirs 80/20's and phosphor bronze and this guitar sounds great with both, loud, articulte and a good guitar to use for Beatles acoustic driven stuff. I also have a Blueridge BR 70, Martin DM and this stacks up with any of them. Good to have in my arsenal. I highly recommend these Blueridges.
