Comments about Gibson Bridge Humbucker Cover:

Not a lot in the description for this particular pickup cover so be warned. PRPC-015 is "bridge spaced" - whatever that means. Let me help you out by letting you know that the pole spacing between the low and high E poles is 2" ... not 1-15/16" like certain Gibson pickups (neck position for example). I had to return mine because it did not fit my Burstbucker.

        Easy Process

Comments about Gibson Bridge Humbucker Cover:

I was wondering if I could install. Very easy process. I installled this bridge cover on my Gibson SG Special. I did not have to install but protecting the pichup as I am an active bar musician. Removed strings, removed pickguard then removed the pickup from the pickguard. Sqeezed the cover in the middle to make concave and a tighter fit. Slipped it over the pickup and pushed all the way down. Using a 40 watt soldering Iron to solder and the tip of a screwdriver I scratched the surface of both the pickup and cover then placed a small bead on two places. Put everything back together and looks and works great. Very Easy... I purchased Nickel, the quality of the cover was just as a Gibson Product Should be..
