The Lanikai LU-21T Ukulele has a larger sized tenor body. The top, back, and sides are nato, which is very similar to mahogany. Other features include an easy-to-play rosewood fingerboard and bridge, die-cast tuners for solid tuning, and binding on the top.

I purchased this a couple weeks back and have had a blast with it so far. It seems to be very well constructed for the price. I played it with a couple of guitar players out camping with the scouts and it was able to be heard quite nicely and sounded great. A few scouts loved it and wanted to learn so I showed them a few chords and taught them how to play some simple songs. They now want to get a Ukulele and play. I would recommend this Ukulele to anyone beginning to learn the instrument. I can't put it down and everyone seems to think it is pretty cool and feels it looks and sounds good. For the money, it can't be beat.

A 1/2 size guitar is too big for my 5 year old son, so I bought this uke and tuned it like a guitar. I it absolutely awesome. In fact, it's so much fun to play that I'm thinking about getting one for myself. The sound is great. The construction and finish are better than the Yamaha FG Jr. 1/2 size I was going to buy. You won't be disappointed.
