THe LU-11 is a standard (soprano) size uke with top, back, sides, and fretboard constructed with nato, a wood similar to mahogany. 12 frets with geared machine heads for easy tuning. Binding on the top.

What a great looking uke. Haven't had one in years and forgot everything about playing and tuning. Easy to tune and stays in tune. Now learning to play again. Quality construction and a great price. Thanks

This little guy is great! This is my first Ukulele that I have owned, but I have played before. It is of solid construction, no flaws noted!. The finish is of a nice warm color. The tuners feel like that of a real classical guitar tuner. The strings are the good ones, not the plastic ones others come with. It also comes with a booklet on basic information, such as chords, tips on how to play, complete chords to a few beginner songs, and other miscellaneous information such as how to tune properly your Ukulele. For those having trouble tuning your ukulele, I recommend you use a chromatic tuner. I used the one for my classical guitar and I was able to tune 3 out of the 4 and the last one I did by ear. Excellent buy, highly recommended...Even more so from the fine staff of music123!

For how much it is it seems more like a bargain. Yeah you can get better ukuleles but if your a starter its the best you can get for cheap. ive had it for 4 months and didnt have much problems besides the fact that the ring design is a sticker. im planning on getting the lanikai ck-c now that i got way better at playing. i mean jamming with the lu-11 is like singing with a microphone.its a lot louder than others.Lanikais and martins rule!!!
