Excellent mandolin for price!!!

By Tony Hull

Comments about Kentucky Master KM-505 A-Model Mandolin:

For this price you can't get a better mandolin! Not only does this instrument sound great but it holds up to daily playing. I've taken mine to bluegrass festivals and used it to jam with other musicians and even used it as a backup in my band. Make sure you get this mandolin setup properly by a professional who specializes in mandolins and you will have a sweet playing, driving mando for years to come!

Powerful Sound, Small Pricetag

By KM

from Vernal, UT

Comments about Kentucky Master KM-505 A-Model Mandolin:

Quite frankly, I think Kentucky is making the best mandos out there for the money. The 505 with its carved top and great woods is to my mind the best deal they offer. It plays great, looks great (the finish on mine was flawless) and sounds better than mandos 3 times its price. It is incredibly loud too--great for bluegrass. Granted I did spend an extra $50 at my local shop to get it set up correctly, but even with that it is a bargain. Great starter or backup mando.

Comments about Kentucky Master KM-505 A-Model Mandolin:

I think this mandolin is the best playing, sounding and value on the market. It looks great too. Get a tone guard to aid in the quality of sound. You will not be dissipointed.
