I bought this as a starter instrument and couldn't be more pleased. As a lifelong guitarist, I found the Kentucky to be an easy transition that held its own from both quality and performance standpoints. The fit and feel was exactly what I was looking for. I've used it for playing out in an ensemble and it has never let me down. The volume and tone are exceptional, especially considering the bargain price. I'd recommend this instrument to aspiring mandolinists as well as experienced string players looking to expand their horizons.

This mandolin exceeds my expectations-fantastic quality for the price! It's sound is just beautiful, and the instrument is very pretty as well.
