I started playing harmonica 2 months ago and needed to get a holder that would allow me to play while playing guitar. This product was the right price and looked better than some flimsy looking harmonica holders I found online.
The only problem is, I found it placed the harmonica too high up for me. Since it is sturdy and well built, it isn't easy to bend to make it fit. This is not really a negative. I made a spacer out of popsicle sticks to lower the harp down half an inch and that worked fairly well on a gig last weekend. It helped me decide how much I need to lower the harp to be comfortable playing it.
I plan on taking the holder apart and placing it in a vise to properly bend it to place the harmonica three quarters of an inch lower without the spacer. I would much rather have this problem than have a harmonica holder placing the harmonica too low with no way to raise it. Someone with a giraffe neck could do the opposite with this holder to raise it off their chin. I guess Hohner can't make it one size fits all without some modification.

This is the best harmonica holder I've ever had. Why? It is solid, man, solid! Ya gotta watch the screws every now and then to make sure they don't work themselves out, but that's about it. All others I ever had were flimsy by comparison.
