Comments about Hohner BIP Blue Ice Harmonica, 3 Pack with Zippered Carrying Case:

I grabbed these because my low-level folk-ish band occasionally uses some harmonica and this seemed like an easy way to pick up a couple in some keys that aren't as easy to find as the standard blues harmonica. To that end, this was mostly a fine purchase. But these feel REAL flimsy. I should've expected it at this price, but it's some really cheap plastic and it feels like you could snap them in half with your hands. Also, one of the lowest notes on one of them came with a loose or poorly-made reed, so you get a nice fuzzy buzzing sound everytime you blow through it (not draw, though). It's easy enough to avoid that note, but it's still a good indication of the overall quality of this product. The case is a nice addition but overall I think it's just there to help turn this into a "how could I NOT buy it?!" sorta bargain for unsuspecting impulse-buyers like myself.
