Comments about Hound Dog Round Neck Dobro Guitar:

I bought this dobro to learn slide. Considering the price this dobro is a good value. It is solidly built and even has Grover tuning pegs. Set up was pretty good right out of the box. It was fairly obvious someone had set it up and tested it in open D tuning. For an inexpensive dobro this one sounds great. Cosmetically, it's not perfect. While the overall finish is pretty good, there are small places where the stain didn't penetrate the wood evenly. It's not something you'd notice unless you looked real close. If you want a good inexpensive dobro, this is it.
