Durable harp mic - Great sound

By WiscoMark

Comments about Shure 520DX Green Bullet Mic:

I got one of these back in 2004, because I was sick of playing out of whatever vocal mic was around. At the time I was playing in a country rock band. I've gigged this mic hard--dropped it multiple times with nary a problem. The mic has a nice mid-rangy sound. It sounds good both clean in the Mickey Rafael style or overdriven for the blues. The volume control is a great feature. I generally have it at about 3/4 for comping and full on for solos. This mic works well going direct into the mixer via a DI box or into and amp depending on what the particular gig calls for.

Perfect for live sound! Easy to hold!

Comments about Shure 520DX Green Bullet Mic:

I just got this harmonica mic and it sounds so clear and its a dream to hold with a harmonica. The volume control is perfectly placed underneath the mic and is easy to use. It is very well made. All metal outer keeps sounding good for years to come. Don't worry about it being hard to hold and play at the same time. It fits and stays in your hand just as well as your harmonica would. I was very satisfied with my little "green bullet". Wonderful addition to your harmonica playing!
