These are the funkiest pair of hats I've ever used. They have a very controlled tone and a high nice bell, which makes it great for disco beats. Incredible if used right.

I recently bought these cymbals and I am very impressed. Play any type of music and they'll sound great in it. Play with them open and you'll get a great sound (very dark and warm) and then close them and get an outstanding deep warm chick. Great hihats.

I bought these hi-hats about 6 months ago and I must say that they are everything I wanted. They are dark, warm and open and sound great recorded. They are extremely expressive and sensitive. They can also be loud and cutting. They are indeed perfect for me-I use them mostly in heavy rock, classic rock, blues, and jazz. I have used them in a punk/Ska band before, and they are not well-suited for that because mine are too big and heavy and muddle up with them. (I have 15 inch traditionals) But for everything else they are the stuff.

I bought these not too long ago and I must say these are very nice hi-hats. I play rock and funk and have moved into more drumming styles and these cymbals will fit every time one way or the other. Playing these with rods brings out a more sizzling and light sound to them and if your listening to the sound demo on the site then they fit the sound that they make with the recording. I love em! get em!

These are brilliant, versatile cymbals. I was told not to get them because of the music I play, but I did anyway and I don't regret it. I went with the 13" traditional pair because I like hi-hats that I can control, and I wasn't disappointed. When played half open they are aggressive and piercing, and when played closed they have the most warm, bright 'chick' that you could imagine. I highly recommend these cymbals to anyone, who plays ANY type of music.

These are the best hi hats I have ever used. They don't swell. They have a good tone, and have a very tight response. Good for any type of music
