The best ride, ever!

Comments about Zildjian K Custom Special Dry Ride Cymbal:

I've been playing drums since 1980. I've played all types of music, but spent years learning jazz and fusion. This ride is the perfect ride for these mediums. The "tah" sound is distinct and it begs to be crashed with the side of the stick. I will forever own this baby and it will be my first choice when I want that dry sound.

What a Cymbal

Comments about Zildjian K Custom Special Dry Ride Cymbal:

I've really found it a great experience using my K Custom Special Dry Ride . Obviously it is a very very very dry ride but this is the sound i was aiming for to compliment my very dry K Custom High Definition Hihats. This Cymbal is perfect for anything contemporary Jazz, to Latin and electronic music, however it would probably not suite as well in your "top 40" gig. I say this because there is little ping and no brightness in this that you hear in ride cymbals commonly used in popular music today. For me, I have a 20" K Ride as well so the Special Dry isn't needed for this application. Kept in context you cannot go wrong with this Ride, i'll never need another!
