I used Vic Firths Peter Erskine stick for a long time, but they never had a good balance to them; not enough front weight for power. Bought these on a whim and haven't bought another type since. They're thin and long like a jazz stick but have the front weight of a rock stick to really push into a song. And the barrel tip gives better accuracy in sound than the teardrop tip. Buy these, THEY'RE AWESOME. I'll never use another stick again.

I've been using 5A's for more then ten years. I purchased a pair of the Dennis Chambers DC Doubles because I needed a pair of mallets and the idea of having a regular drumstick on the other end seemed appealing to me. Well, I liked the drumstick much that I've been using nothing but Dennis Chambers signature sticks ever since. I never thought I'd be a fan of the ball end, but was I ever wrong. They have a great cymbal response and just feel great.
