An expressive crash with lots of class.
The A Series Zildjian is the world's most popular and versatile cymbal. Created from cast bronze alloy of 80% copper, 20% tin, and traces of silver, it is symmetrically machine hammered and lathed with a traditional wide groove. The result is an exuberant crash cymbal that bursts with a classic voice that is pure, bright, and expressive.

Sounds nice
Comments about Zildjian A Series Thin Crash Cymbal:
This is a straight forward drum cymbal. Its good for low volume practice, if you are not a "hard hitter". I bought the 15 inch thin model. No complaints so far.

Great All Around Crash
Comments about Zildjian A Series Thin Crash Cymbal:
I own the 18" brilliant finish crash and couldn't be happier. it can serve as a great light crash, can be used as a crash ride, or a light ride. It stays in my set up no matter what kind of music I'm playing and there's no better crash than it that I've ever played. It plays well with other A's and K's from Zildjian, especially the 18" Brilliant finish A Medium Thin Crash, or if you have a traditional finish the same applies. I use it for everything and it gets the job done with flying colors.

Great crash for your money
Comments about Zildjian A Series Thin Crash Cymbal:
This cymbal goes very well with all other Avedis crashes. I have a 19" and it adds a great sound to my set. Deep crash, not too responsive, quick sound. Sounds very nice with a 16" crash.

Excellent Cymbal
Comments about Zildjian A Series Thin Crash Cymbal:
This is truly one of the greatest cymbals. It works well for about any occasion, whether it be a background murmur or a strong and powerful accent. It has a very light and soft feel to it and is therefore extremely responsive to the slightest touch. However, it can also produce the volume and "pop" that you need when things start getting dramatic in your playing. Overall, it is a very solid and versatile cymbal. A must have.

The most versatile crash out there.
Comments about Zildjian A Series Thin Crash Cymbal:
If you are only buying one crash cymbal, buy this one. It is the most versatile crash that Zildjian makes. I have seven crashes, and I find that I use my 16" Thin crash the majority of the time. It is loud enough to cut through and accent the song, but the decay is not overly long (as with heavier cymbals.) It has a fairly bright sound, and is fast enough to be used quite regularly. If you have heavier cymbals, then you understand the importance of having a cymbal that is "faster". I started out with an 18" Rock crash, and I was very glad to add a faster cymbal to my set. I don't think you will be disappointed with this cymbal. Personally I play the standard Zildjians, the "A" line. I find that they blend well with each other, and the 16" is the perfect "Go to" cymbal for me.
