So I am a rock/pop kind of drummer. I like to have a moment while I am playing where I crash on a cymbal. Where do I find the perfect cymbal? Alllll of my needs were answered as soon as I tried out this sweet ride, and I purchased it right away. This cymbal was perfect in almost every way. The ride has this clean cut, staccato ping sound that is unique compared to the other rides out there. I once owned the 22 inch A custom ping ride, which, don't get me wrong, had an amazing sound, but the sweet ride I think has the same or even better sound. Also, the sweet ride is a little washy, allowing a beautifulll sound for crashing. I also use this cymbal as a secondary crash. It has that middle toned perfection when hit like a crash, and it is unbelievable. The bell is also an A+, because it is a loud, clear sound, and it can cut through guitar sounds and other resonating cymbal sounds for the bell sound you want. This ride is all purpose and fantastic. It sounds like a ride, sounds like a crash but not really a crash ride, it has the sound of a ride made only for the ping sound, it has the bell from heaven. What more can you ask for? Indescribable.
