Zildjian

Very high pitched with extreme projection.

The A Series Zildjian is the world's most popular and versatile cymbal. Created from cast bronze alloy of 80% copper, 20% tin, and traces of silver, it is symmetrically machine hammered and lathed with a traditional wide groove. The result is an exuberant Zildjian cymbal that bursts with a classic voice that is pure, bright, and expressive.

loud and obnoxious

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Crash Cymbal:

This cymbal is very loud. It has a really bad ring in its decay and its crash isn't very clean. Go for the medium thin crash.

ok

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Crash Cymbal:

I just bought the 18" rock crash. This cymbal is really heavy and thick, so it rings a lot. It's only good for loud playing, otherwise the ring will be heard too much in soft playing. It rings too much when you choke it. It makes a pretty good crash ride, though.

What a crash

By Michael-7kf8h

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Crash Cymbal:

I have some Sabian pro Sonix and a Sabian AA sound control crash. I never disliked Zildjian, I just thought that Sabian were just as good but at a better price. I was at a band practice and my sisters b/f let me borrow his Zildjian straight, an 18" crash to replace my Sabian AA 14"cracked crash. I was so impressed. This cymbal can cut through anything and its real loud. I'm thinking of buying either this crash or the signature chad smith by Sabian they're both great crashes. I might have to buy both. This is a really great cymbal.

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Crash Cymbal:

Great cymbal. I bought a 19" to fill out my set and it was one of the best purchases I've ever made.
