I love this because the 8" cuts through but doesn't wash over, and even in heavier breakdowns it will cut through. It has a nice warm sound, and is literally a little splash of a cymbal. It rings, but rather quiet. It's just a quick little accent than it very quickly fades into an ongoing ring. Anyway, it has a very high pitched, warm sound. It's a very light sound, and is not a heavy sounding cymbal at all. I know Wuhans may have a great price, but for a little more you'll be getting a thicker and waaaaaaaay better sounding cymbal. And it looks beautiful too, I love the brilliant finish.

I own a 12" (plan on getting a 10" or 8") and it sounds amazing. It blends in and sounds well in every style of music I play. The harder stuff, and also the more mellow music as well. You can not go wrong with these splashes.

The A Custom splash could indeed be the perfect splash cymbal. I have a 10", and it is amazing. In loud or aggressive music, it offers a quick, musical accent. During softer songs, it is a musical tone like no other. If I were to close my eyes and imagine my ideal splash sound, it would be the same sound I get from a 10" A custom splash.

I love the 12". I play rock music and it blends in wonderfully. It speaks loud and decays fast. I am going after the 10" soon as well. A definite thumbs up!

I got this cymbal about 6 months ago and fell in love with it. Really great sounding. If you want to get a splash, I'd suggest one of these. I have the 10" and it really does sound exactly how you'd expect a good splash to sound!

This is an awesome splash. I got the 12" version a little while back, and it sounds great. Very warm, bright, sweet tone. I'm probably going to get the 10" version in a little bit.

I just got this cymbal. It's awesome! Great sound. I haven't found any defects yet. I hit it rather hard a few times to test it's durability, and when I looked there's not so much as a ding/dent in it. It looked as if I had just gotten it out of the box again. I highly recommend this cymbal! It does sound good.
