Heavier version of the very popular A Custom for louder volume saturation.

The heaviest of all the Custom Crashes, the Zildjian A Custom Medium Crash has a sharp, cutting attack with a high-pitched cymbal sound, and it shimmers with complex brilliance and musicality. All-brilliant finish, heavier weight, and large cup offer sounds from light, musical accents to loud, cutting punctuations.

Comments about Zildjian A Custom Medium Crash:

I brought the 16 inch not too long ago and I would have to say that it is one of the best I have owned. I also brought the 16 z rock but the a custom sounds a lot more deeper and not as tinny. It is loud when it wants to be but I think it is good just when you hit it medium rather then hard as you need to with the z's. An overall cymbal that suits most styles. Leans more towards the rock rather then your softer type. Go for the straight a's or K's if your into that.

Should have gotten a thinner crash

Comments about Zildjian A Custom Medium Crash:

I bought a 20" A custom ride and a 16" A custom crash. I was so pleased with them that I added a 18" Medium Crash to the collection. I am a little disappointed in the purchase. Not because its a bad cymbal, but its for all purposes an 18" ride. To actually get a crash cymbal out of it you really gotta hit it hard and then its deafening.
