Comments about Yamaha Double-Braced Lightweight Boom Cymbal Stand:

The stands seem plenty sturdy even though they are described as "light". I am not a "hard hitter" as I play mostly jazz. The range of adjustment is very good. Price is right.

Comments about Yamaha Double-Braced Lightweight Boom Cymbal Stand:

I bought Yamaha b/c their hardware has always been the best. Heavy metal, non roading kit, holding big cymbals, 18 & 20 inch crashes. For the money these stands are up to the task, if I was on the road I would go with the heavier model. The engineering is top notch and Yamaha quality is like always, very consistent. Great kit for all styles and levels, but obviously not made for heavy duty touring.
