Quality sound for an affordable price.
Wuhan "Western-Style" splashes, crashes, hi-hats, and rides are created by Wuhan's cymbal craftsman and have a distinct, unmistakable character. Generally thinner than other cymbals, they produce a breathy wash of overtones and a comfortable cushion of sound that is complex and very musical.

My traditional Wuhan 10 and 12" splashes are a key feature in my soft volume cymbal line-up. I consider them bordering on "paper thin" in thickness and their sound washes up and out like any other nice paper thin I have played before. I just really hope that this traditional line of Wuhans are never ever discontinued. I have the "S" series as well but I think the traditional series are the more serious cymbals. My line of trads. 10, 12, 16, 18 crashes and 13" hihats are ones I treasure evening a collection of lots of other nice cymbals. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

I love Wuhans!!!
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
I have been using Wuhan's Chinas, splashes and crashes for more than 5 years. This time I bought two of these splashes 8" and 10". They were new to me - in brilliant finish and they sounded just amazing. The splashes I ordered before were in traditional finish and also sounded great. I have also to tell that all the Wuhan splashes I had were great , none of them dissappointed me. And I bought a lot - not just for me, but also for my fellow drummers.

You either like it or you don't
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
At first I had a love/hate relationship with this cymbal. After playing for about 4 months I am starting to grow fond of it. It is definitely a "traditional" sounding Wuhan. Like the 12" Wuhan China I have I had to learn how to play it to get it to sound right. I have been playing drums for 20 years and it has been a challenge. It is dark and kind of trashy, like a China but it has a good amount of wash and it sounds great if you do a roll on it with marimba mallets. It is paper thin and it does not have a lot of volume unless you really want to crack it. Overall, it is a sound I have had to get accustomed to but it has definitely added a different "color" to my set. I do recommend it especially if you are on a tight budget.

Great tone
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
I found this splash to be pretty good, certainly better than I thought it would be at this price. It has a nice, wide tone to it, very wide range, and it manages to be heard even at greater volumes. The cymbal is very lively, and has a good build-up. I have the 12" splash, and it's great for fast accents, I even use it as a crash sometimes... it's also durable, I don't think I've managed to bump it yet!At this price, I would recommend trying this cymbal out, it really is surprisingly good.

this is really a great cymbal
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
This cymbal is great I got it and I play really hard. All of my other cymbals are cracked. Except this one. It's a really thick cymbal. It also sounds really great a hope this might help you out. Well later y'all Stephen.

Can't beat it for the money
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
I've been playing a Wuhan 18" China (ala Neil Peart) for years and have always loved it, so I gave these a try. I bought the 8-inch model, and it's great. Faster decay and trashier than some splashes that I've played, but still sounds really well. Far and away better than the newer Sabian B8 Pro splashes, and it costs less! If you're on a budget, get these. If you're not on a budget, maybe get some higher-end cymbals, but at these prices you could buy 3 or 4 for the price of 1!

Absolutely love my Wuhans
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
My 12 inch Wuhan splash is the perfect complement to my larger darker/heavier "S" series crashes and traditional Chinas. It's pitch and projection really helps me to punctuate when I need to. It cuts through the sound with such clarity that I would be lost without it. I guess I really rely on it. I'm getting the 10 inch next. At this price, why not? All the Zildjians and Sabian in the world couldn't pry me away from my Wuhans. My bandmates like them also because they add a unique quality to our overall sound.

Great Cymbal
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
There is definitely no beating the prices that go along with this splash cymbal, or the fact that it sounds great for the price. I have owned it for several months, and I really beat on it. I have dropped it before, on accident, and nothing happened to it. I could probably drop the thing off my roof and it would still sound amazing. great deal...

This Is No Splash!
Comments about Wuhan Splash Cymbal:
This cymbal is superb on any drum kit, and fits with any style of music. But this sounds mostly like a china! I Had a Wuhan china awhile back, and I replaced it with this because this was a better cymbal than the actual china! This cymbal is excellent for value, and it should last you a few years!
