An affordable pair of cymbals made from the same B20 alloy as many high-end cymbals.
This 14" Wuhan hi-hat cymbal pair features a medium-thin top cymbal for quick, expressive stick response, paired with a medium bottom hat that provides definition and projection for the closed-cymbal sound. This Wuhan hi-hat is a great sonic combination.
The best hi-hat cymbal money can buy? No.
The best hi-hat cymbal so little money can buy? Absolutely!
Wuhan cymbals don't presume to challenge the sound quality, variety, or reputations of the fine professional-level cymbals on today's market. But when it comes to being affordable, that's another story.
Generally, "affordable" cymbals are made of less-expensive sheet alloys, using shortcut manufacturing methods and finishing steps in order to keep the cost down. With the resulting cymbals, you pretty much get what you pay for.
Wuhan cymbals are made of high-quality, cast B20 alloy. Handcrafted in China according to two-thousand-year-old traditional methods, these 14" hi-hats are buffed to a brilliant finish, and stamped with an unobtrusive but attractive logo.

Comments about Wuhan Hi-hat Cymbal Pair:
I've been playing drums for 18 years but I've never been able to afford the nicer things for my personal kit. I play in the gospel world and I've been guest drummer to several very large congregations whose drummers are used to DWs and Zildjian's. Or top of the line Sonar coupled with Sabian AAX/HHX. I know what quality sounds and feels like. But when it came to my set at home I stuck with the entry level B8, B8pro, Meinl HCS, Zildjian ZBT....so on. I'd heard of Wuahn's legendary china's and thought to myself, "If I get a chance to pick up one of these babies, I'm gonna." Well I had that chance and I picked up one of the 14". I also picked up a set of these amazing Hi-hats. These beat out my Sabian B8 and B8 pro, my Zildjian ZBT and Semitars, and my Meinl HCS. The superior B20 bronze instantly shines out and cuts through! Even though I play in churches and with gospel musicians I myself would be classified as straight-up Rock n' Roll!!! I enjoy learning everything from All American Rejects and Paramore, to Coldplay and Counting Crows, and Flying Colors and Dave Matthews Band note-for-note. These hi-hats are bright and distinct when using plastic tips and closed (thing Carter Beauford from DMB) all the to half open punishment(think Mike Portnoy). It does Hi-hat barks considerably well too. If you have the cash of a beginner but the level of talent and experience of intermediate/ semi-pro you will not go wrong with these imported works of musical art.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
