A hip trick now revealed by the master.

Steve Gadd and Vic Firth have solved the age-old problem of wire brushes snagging on new coated drumheads. By slightly angling the wires in the top 3/4" of the playing end, Steve Gadd wire brushes glide across the drum head with a smooth sweep and a velvet swish sound. The angled wires also increase surface contact to generate increased volume.

Excellent product

By Jazzman

from Washington, DC

Comments about Vic Firth Steve Gadd Wire Brushes:

These are by far the best brushes I have ever used. The slight bend in the front makes all the difference in the world. I am an experienced brush player and have tried them all. Started using them about four years ago and haven't gone back -- and never will.

My slant

By J. Bush

from Joneboro LA 71251

Comments about Vic Firth Steve Gadd Wire Brushes:

What an incredible idea! slant/bend/turn the ends of the brushes to keep them from catching in the coating on the snare! I do a lot of brush work, and these work to perfection. Thanks Steve Gadd!
