These solid brushes are especially great for snappy samba situations; and 2 'spread' settings are handy for a variety of situations. 5 stars to Music123 also!! They got these to me in record time and with a much lower free shipping threshold than their competitors!!!

I would say that 50% of my playing is with brushes and after 30 years of trying this company and that, I found the Vic Firth purple-handled brushes 4 or 5 years ago and haven't looked back. Now they have down-sized the triangle on the push-pull end, which allows for more subtle cymbal scrapes and effects. The brush spread on these remain consistent from brush to brush, which isn't always true with other name brands. Thank you Vic Firth!
