I've tried these sticks on three separate occasions, and every time, they've either snapped in half, or the head has worn down within a month of buying them. They are some of the nicest sticks I've ever used, don't get me wrong, they just aren't the most durable for metal, or any drumming that requires lots of cymbals or rim shots. They'd be far better with a nylon tip.

AMAZING BALANCE. Theres enough front weight for playing really fast singles, and the tapered back gives a great rebound. I've always played with 5A VF models and these are heavier but you have great control with the grooved back.These are good sticks for heavier playing.

I will admit these are probably the best sticks I've ever held but I hate wood tips because they wear down too easily. If Danny had these made with nylon tips, they'd be absolutely perfect. Overall, a good pair of sticks.
