Killer Sticks

By Patrick-b45X2

from california

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

Got my 1st pair of Buddy's about 8 months ago, and they are perfectly broken-in...LOL. I own several pair, but I keep going back to my originals..they are utterly perfect in weight, balance, and they just fit in my hands so well. I absolutely love these sticks...I could careless about leaving marks on my cymbals etc etc. I have nothing but praise for the design...and thus far they seem to be indestructible. Versatile stick, for versatile players...can't say enough.

All Around Great Stick

By Matt-yLKEu

from Colorado

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

This stick is great for anything you ever want to do. It's just heavy enough for serious blasting but just light enough for anything else like blues or jazz. It's my main stick and I doubt that will change soon. The Balance is perfect. The white looks good but shows on your cymbals. Thats a small price to pay for such a fine stick.

Great balance, fabulous cymbal sound!

By Shane Mooney

from Racine, Wisconsin

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

Buddy's design is innovative, unique and provides the best cymbal sound of ANY wood-tip stick. It is a powerful stick with superb balance. Frankly I find it too heavy for jazz, but use it for rock/country. The only thing I don't like is thickness, as the original stick, commissioned by Ludwig when Buddy signed on around 1970 was a .550mm. A great stick none the less.

Great stick but.....

By Bubba Ho Tep

from Portland, Oregon

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

The Buddy Rich Signature Sticks are truly a joy to use. They are tapered well and weigh heavy enough to play rock yet light enough for jazz. Would be the perfect sticks if not for the white finish making stick marks on cymbals. I have been using these sticks since they first came out, I get mad when my cymbals get marked up, stop using them, but eventually buy another pair because I enjoy them so much. Wish Vic Firth could find a way to eliminate the stick marks.

great jazz or blues sticks

By M-A.ewb

from illinois

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

These sticks do play rock very well but are made for jazz and blues. Vick Firth sticks are specially made for the type of music that the signature on the stick plays. That's why these sticks play such good blues and jazz.

great sticks

By Andrew Williams

from bremerton

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

I bought these sticks a couple months ago and they haven't broken. They are great. I tried out many sticks and these are way better then all of them. They sound great! They're durable and they are light. Almost as light as my Ahead sticks (which I hate!) The white finish on these sticks look awesome and when you get them, they smell like a good quality wood. These sticks give you a great jazz sound from ride cymbal to buzz rolling and they also give me a loud rock sound without tearing up my heads like other wood tip sticks do. I got almost every drummer at my school to use these cause they loved them so much. They won't serve you wrong. Buddy Rich designed these sticks so who could go wrong with them?

Buddy, I solute you!

By Mark-3Z9He

from Markleville IN USA

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

Vic Firth makes the best drumsticks out there. I've always used Vics, but just recently started using Buddy Rich. This stick has a thicker shaft that will last longer than any other stick I've ever tried. Really light weight great pop and comfortable.

Better than a 5A

By Dan Busler

from Boston

Comments about Vic Firth Buddy Rich Signature Drumsticks:

For years I used the Regal Wood Tip 5A. They are solid, straight and have a great sound. It was suggested that I try the Buddy Rich stick. That was over ten years ago. They are longer and have a thicker shaft. They will hold up better than the 5A if you play on both the top and side of the closed hi-hat, which tends to destroy a stick. These are an excellent choice
